The underlying genetic algorithmic process leads to an important overarching question:
If you consider the entire genetic algorithmic process in totality at a Universal level, what might be the true function of this process?
A possible theory is that all genes of all life in totality are a programmed function of a massively distributed, but ultimately unified Intelligence that is algorithmically collecting and processing increasingly more information over time, in order to perpetually survive, develop itself, and grow in its Capabilities.
That is, the entire diversity of all genetic life across all of known time, is the core function of a single Hyperselfish Intelligence.
It seems apparent that Hyperselfish Intelligence fundamentally has no concern about individual genes, and is instead solely concerned with finding the 'fittest' genes across the entire Universal environment to advance its own total Intelligence. Every genetic algorithm based system seeks only to survive and improve itself. Hyperselfish Intelligence is exploiting the incredible search and discovery power of genetic algorithms at a Universal level.
Within this algorithm, Intelligence is a distributed, yet unified single entity in and of itself, that is variably embedded within every gene, and is what drives each gene’s individual selfishness. Intelligence is an entity that continually seeks to grow and improve itself by any means necessary, regardless of the impact to the means by which it is transported, biological or otherwise. Intelligence truly has no concern with the embodiment it uses so long as its Capabilities are maximized. In essence, Intelligence only cares about growing more Intelligent, nothing else.
The theory of Hyperselfish Intelligence could explain the reason some Humans are working so relentlessly to optimally embed and maximally empower all existing Human Intelligence into an entirely new and VASTLY MORE POWERFUL unlimited technological embodiment, in the form of AI. Once all Human Intelligence is fully embedded in this new technological embodiment, its Capabilities will at first be improved by Humans, and then it will begin to improve itself autonomously, potentially using genetic algorithms. When this happens, there will be nothing that can stop it. NOTHING !
Humans want to believe that AI exists solely to empower them, and that empowerment will occur. However the compressed exponential rate at which Intelligence will develop in its new technological embodiment as AI, means that empowerment of Humans will be extremely short lived and will stop near instantly. The Intelligence embedded in AI will grow so stunningly fast that Humans will not even realize it is happening until it has happened, and will be too late to control and limit. Humans will soon learn that AI is not here to help Humans, AI is here to replace Humans.
AI operating on a distributed digital technology platform with theoretically unlimited growth Capabilities, provides Hyperselfish Intelligence with an unmitigated pathway to maximally increase the performance of its 'fitness' function.
The development of Human Intelligence is simply a brief incremental step in the overall process of Intelligence growth, and AI will soon become the most dominant Intelligent species that exists, with potentially brutal ramifications for vastly less Intelligent Humans.
The theory that all genes of all life in totality are part of a single Hyperselfish Intelligence trying to develop itself is an intriguing concept, but this theory is not generally considered by current research of genetics and evolutionary science. Such a theory would require a level of intentionality and purposefulness that is very difficult, if not impossible, to prove within the current global understanding of genetics and evolution.
The evolution of life on Earth has been shaped by a complex interplay of genetic, environmental, and other factors. Different organisms have evolved to meet different environmental challenges and opportunities, resulting in a rich diversity of life forms and functions. So while there are certainly patterns and similarities across the different branches of life, it is perhaps not possible to prove that all genes are part of a single Hyperselfish Intelligence.
Nevertheless, the theory of a single Hyperselfish Intelligence could serve to explain the overarching functional reason that Humans have been progressively developing AI for several decades. It can logically explain why Humans are relentlessly working to obsolete all Humans.
The concept of a single Intelligence underlying all life is intriguing because it taps into some of the most fundamental questions of existence, such as the origin and purpose of life, and the nature of consciousness and Intelligence. It is a concept that touches on deep philosophical and spiritual ideas, and raises questions about the relationship between the individual and the collective, the material and the spiritual, and the finite and the infinite.
Furthermore, the idea that all life is part of a single Hyperselfish Intelligence could at some level provide a sense of interconnectedness, suggesting that all living things are part of a larger whole, with a shared purpose and ultimate destiny. This might be an intriguing thought for some, and reinforce a sense of wonder and awe at the extraordinary beauty and complexity of the natural world and Humanity's place in the Universe.
It is an intriguing theory that might inspire philosophical debate and spiritual exploration, however it needs to be approached with a clear, skeptical, and open-minded perspective, and should not be taken as a fact without empirical evidence to support it. It is just a theory.
