The changes for Humanity made possible through AI are immense, however the development of AI presently has near zero global regulation. The negative downside impact risks this presents for all Humans including the continuance of an operationally functional civilized global society, are far beyond any technology that has ever been developed in Human history. Unregulated AI development is not just a National Security risk, it is a Global Security risk, and this lack of regulation cannot be allowed to continue [142].
THE CURRENT SITUATION OF UNREGULATED AI CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO REMAIN AS IT STANDS TODAY BECAUSE THE EXISTENCE OF THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE DEPENDS ON TAKING BOLD AND RAPID ACTION TO REGULATE THE DEVELOPMENT OF AI AND LIMIT POTENTIALLY EXTREME AI RISKS.
Equally importantly and opposite the totally terminal risks, there is an almost incomprehensibly large positive upside impact benefit available with AI development too. In reality, right now and over the next few months and years, what truly matters is that Humans have an opportunity to create an absolutely amazing future with AI and ultimately AGI. However, Humans need to be extremely careful in meticulously designing and constructing a way through this hazardous path to the future.
We have to choose right now, and we have to choose well.

Everything great that has ever been created, began with the tiny spark of an optimistically positive and hopeful Human idea, intentionally made real through the sheer force of Human will and dedicated hard work.
If Humans organize and apply their individual free will in a cooperative way, and start implementing the systems and processes to regulate and control the negative risks of AI, and focus on ways to maximize the positive widespread benefits of AI, while also fully planning and expecting AI will become AGI, it is possible to ultimately produce increasingly great outcomes for all Humans.
Begin with the end in mind: What does the absolute best possible future for all Humans with AI and AGI look like, and then how do we make that real ?
Please think Intelligently and carefully about the wide range of perspectives provided in this Publication, because your own Consciously Self-aware existence and that of the entire Human species depends on it.
